“ Great selection of Spanish tapas, both hot and cold plus some nice Spanish dishes including paella which takes 1 hour to make. Tre was a great sever. Went on a Saturday night, mistake, much too loud and noisy. Been here several times before when it was much more enjoyable with the noise level. I tried the Fried Calamari, lightly battered calamari and fried vegetables with aioli Sweet Angels and the Cazuelita, shrimp, scallops, calamari, mushrooms & chorizo sautéed with garlic, olive oil, and white wine, both were very good. My wife ordered the sweet plantains wrapped in applewood bacon and drizzled with a butter brandy. Also the Meatballs Andalucia, meatballs made with beef, mozzarella, dates and almonds served in tomato Pisto sauce . Also very good. Definitely something different than the normal except of for the noise level. ”
“ The food was delicious and the service was great. The Ambience was great and the staff was very nice. ”
“ We've been meaning to eat here for years. Finally we made it in on a random Tuesday night since the kids are on spring break. Much to our surprise we came on a night that is half of Tapas. Apparently every Tuesday that's their special. This is such great deal on some really great food. My family & I enjoyed ordering a whole lot of tapas! My two kids also ordered kids meals as well as sharing tapas with my husband & I. These are very nice portions for kids meals. Not to mention the chicken tenders on my daughter's kids meal were actual real freshly made chicken tenders that were breaded/scratch made... and not something that is premade, frozen, came out of a box or bag in their freezer and then just deep fried. I very much appreciate when the kids meals at restaurants are quality meals and not just thrown together fast food-like garbage. We loved every single tapa that we ordered. The desserts were amazing as well. We ordered 3 desserts. The pistachio flan, Tres Leches cake and the chocolate cake. It was hard to pick a favorite because they were all delicious. Service was really friendly too. When the bill came my husband and I were so pleased that we came in on a Tuesday night. This deal on the tapas on Tuesday is truly amazing. What a gem this place is. I even appreciate how easy self parking was. Very much looking forward to trying other things on their menu, We will definitely be coming back. I can actually totally see us becoming regulars here. ”
“ Absolutely love Papa's Tapas. The food is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with care--especially the garlic shrimp and paella, which are always standouts. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service feels like family. Whether you're here for a casual night out or a special occasion, it never disappoints. A true gem in Delray! ”
“ I made reservations a week in advance for four of us. There was plenty of free parking in the lot in front. The menus were very appealing, everything looked delicious. We ordered our seafood paellas in advance as it takes an hour to prepare. We started with sangrias and lots of different tasty tapas. The empanadas and croquettes were delicious. For dinner, we shared a huge seafood paella with a lobster tail, shrimp, clams, mahi-mahi, mussels, and calamari. The seafood was sweet and just melted in our mouths. The complementary pistachio flan was amazing. Service was impeccable, and our dinner was memorable. We were not rushed. We enjoyed sitting and chatting a little bit after dinner. ”
“ Came created promptly. Staff super accommodating. We had two glass of Tempranillo that were fantastic. Gambas al ajillo delicious. Patatas brava freshly fried and fresh not frozen. The cazuelita was delicious with the Spanish sausage. Would definitely recommend and would come back. Hidden gem. ”
“ Papa's Tapas offers a vibrant, colorful space perfect for enjoying Spanish and Latin-inspired dishes. Our group of six was seated quickly, and the service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly. I started with a Sangria, which was generously filled and delicious. As for the food, while the tapas weren't the best I've had compared to other spots, they were still enjoyable. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Croquetas, Sautéed Pulpo, Pork Belly, Chorizo Montadito, Patatas Bravas, Mini Cubanitos, Sweet Angels, Chorizo Al Jerez, and a side of tostones. The portions left us feeling satisfied but not overly full--we could have eaten more if we wanted. The atmosphere was lively but also quite noisy, which may not be ideal for those looking for a quieter dining experience. On the plus side, there's free parking, and our waiter was helpful and attentive. Overall, Papa's Tapas is a decent option for Spanish and Latin fare if you're in the area. ”
“ OMG is all i can say! i absolutely love the concept of tapas/small plates so i knew i had to stop by here during my visit to Delray Beach. the pricing and menu selections were amazing. of course i sat at the bar and so i received the best service from the bar tender. she recommended i try the red sangria and i absolutely loved it. she let me try the white sangria, but it was too sweet for my liking. the empanadas were filled with meat, literally no space for air. the sweet angels were the perfect sweet/salty combination. the pork belly was my absolute favorite, the chimi churri sauce was delicious and so garlicky just how i like it. the croquetas were also delicious, they literally melt in your mouth. i was not a fan of the flan, but i'm also very picky about my flans. i enjoyed the chill atmosphere and the music selections was A1. i would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try tapas and wanting to explore something new . ”
“ Wanted a selection of small plates and this was the perfect fit. Inside and outside tables and as is normal quite difficult to park in busy DelRay. Six dishes and everyone pleasant and tasty. Pork crochets, beef empanadas, shrimp plate, meat balls, bruschetta and finally baked cheese on flat bread. Good cocktail choices and behind the bar to large kegs of red and white Sangria which are served in generous large pottery jugs. Final nice touch as we were setting to leave staff member went to open the door and thank us. It is a great family run restaurant. ”
